Well, I think our presentation was alright. I think it could have been better, but due to time constraints... the video was not done, and other things were not what they could be. Also, the judges were "hit or miss" at best. The older lady in the middle was super sweet. The other two were on the cusp of gettin' the belt. Everyone was gettin sassed left n' right. I don't really have a problem with them not liking the presentation, but there'll be a swift back hand in someone's future if I get anymore gab from their sassy lips.

April 30, 2010 - "What was favorite, and least favorite aspect of the photo assignment?"

- My favorite thing about the assignment was taking pictures of David, for sure. Other than that, I had really no use at all for this stuff. Some of the pics were cool and all, but I could've done without it.

April 23, 2010--Upload your favorite picture of the photo assignment--explain what you did to the photo to change it and why it is your favorite

this is my favorite picture almost entirely because it's David... but also, I messed with all the color settings and liquified the background.

March 26--You started using Flash this week. Explain differences between it and Photoshop. Which do you like better and explain why?

-Flash and photoshop are actually nothing alike... except that you can draw using both of them. Flash is a frame by frame animation software, and photoshop allows you to distort or edit pics. Hmmm... I really don't know which I like better... photoshop is probably funnier.

This week, I learned three ever important skills on Photoshop. Early in the week, I learned about feathering... which is useful if you wanna look like an angel or whatever. I'm finally mastering taking the faces of teachers that I make fun of and putting them in random places. And most importantly, I'm figuring out how to smudge. By the way... yes, there is a boy named David who sits in front of me and complains entirely too much. Every day I'm hard at work and he is disrupting me.... also Maria. She's very disruptive as well.

March 12, 2010--You have learned some basics of both Photoshop and Illustrator. What are some of the basic differences in the two programs? Which do you like better and why?

-Ummm... Photoshop deals strictly with photography and altering it. Illustrator demands that you create your own images as opposed to altering it.

March 1--Do a blog entry answering the following questions--How to you think it is possible to make up all the work missed from snow days? Do you think the state should change the schedule for next year so that we can get in more days?

I don't think all the work should be made up. Mostly, because it is unimportant. My sister is in algebra right now and no one knows how to help her, because no one uses school in the real world.

I honestly don't care if the schedule is changed because I won't be coming to school anymore.... however I would feel like crap if my friends who are still in school had to come in early august and get out in late june.

First Blog

Today is a day that I will never recover from... am doing a real blog. *sigh

This has been a good class. I've finished my storyboard. We used "audacity" yesterday. That was pretty suh-weeeeet. I also rather enjoyed "photo booth". It was all good. So far, I have learned to better navigate computers. But I really hope that after we finish the PSA's we learn photoshop.
